About Katie

Hi, I’m Katie — a potter working out of a small home studio in upstate NY. KMOS Handmade started as a way to slow down and work with my hands, and it’s grown into a small side business alongside my full-time job. I throw functional pottery: mugs, plates, bowls, and other everyday pieces, each one shaped on the wheel and finished by hand.

My pieces are intentionally simple, lightly imperfect, and grounded in the joy of making things by hand. Thanks for being here and supporting slow, personal work.
