About Katie

Hi, I’m Katie — a potter working out of a small home studio in upstate NY. KMOS Handmade started because I wanted to make something with my hands that wasn’t a spreadsheet, and it’s grown into a small side business alongside my full-time job. I throw functional pottery: mugs, plates, bowls, and other everyday pieces, each one shaped on the wheel and finished by hand.

My pieces are a little imperfect, occasionally a little weird, and made with more enthusiasm than precision. Thanks for being here and supporting a very small, very handmade operation.
